• Deliver end-to-end administration, troubleshooting, and architectural support for the enterprise Kubernetes (K8s) container ecosystem.
• Architect, deploy, and optimise automated CI/CD pipelines to facilitate advanced release patterns, including blue-green, canary, and rolling deployments alongside rapid rollbacks.
• Supervise continuous delivery pipelines and GitOps strategies to guarantee automated, frictionless application updates across distributed cluster environments.
• Oversee comprehensive system monitoring and proactive alerting mechanisms utilizing Prometheus and ELK Stack architectures to maintain deep operational visibility.
• Strengthen infrastructure security postures by managing container vulnerability assessments, image scanning, and routine platform patching.
• Partner closely with engineering units to streamline software integration lifecycles and standardise deployment workflows.
• Manage critical production incidents, coordinate comprehensive root-cause analysis (RCA) investigations, and compile technical post-mortem reviews.

skills & experience required.

• University Degree or Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working within Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps landscapes, utilizing tools such as NGINX, Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
• Deep, practical deployment expertise focusing on RedHat OpenShift environments is a mandatory requirement.
• Demonstrated capability in diagnosing and resolving complex infrastructure anomalies within OpenShift and Kubernetes frameworks.
• Proven commitment to maintaining platform scalability, high availability, and performance tracking via modern observability tools.
• Strong competency in automation scripting utilizing languages such as Bash and Python.
• Broad foundational knowledge of enterprise IT architecture, encompassing databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), dual OS environments (Windows/Linux), hypervisors (KVM, Hyper-V), and Docker runtimes.
• Professional credentials such as RHCE or MCSE certifications, alongside familiarity with ISO 27001 compliance, will be highly valued.
• Clear comprehension of defensive security frameworks, credential rotation, and corporate compliance protocols.
• Flexibility to accommodate occasional night shifts and on-call emergency support rotas as operational needs dictate.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese).
