Data Product Owner - Banking

International bank hiring for Data Product Owner. This role will be responsible for data strategy across data management, data governance, and cloud-enabled platforms. The successful Data Product Owner will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into high-impact data solutions, while enabling scalable, data-driven decision-making across the bank.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for data products, ensuring alignment with business priorities and measurable outcomes
• Act as the key liaison between business, data governance, and technology teams to prioritise initiatives and deliver value-driven solutions
• Lead end-to-end product delivery in Agile environments, from data onboarding through to consumption and analytics
• Embed data governance, quality standards, and scalable architecture principles into all product initiatives

Requirements

• Private Banking / Investment Banking / Wealth Management experience
• Work experience as a Senior Data Analyst / Product Manager / Product Owner
• Strong knowledge of data platforms, data modelling, pipelines, and cloud technologies
• Solid understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks
• AI experience highly beneficial but not essential
