About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and business-driven leader to build and own the Group Enterprise Risk Intelligence and Control Framework across global trading operations.

This role is responsible for designing an end-to-end risk monitoring and control strategy across the entire trading lifecycle, integrating trading behaviour, market exposure, system vulnerabilities, execution risks, and operational controls into a unified risk intelligence framework.

The mission is not only to monitor risks, but to proactively identify abnormal behaviours, prevent systemic incidents, and continuously strengthen the Group’s operational resilience through data intelligence, automation, and cross-functional governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Group’s end-to-end trading and operational risk monitoring strategy, establishing a unified control framework across trading behaviour, market exposure, system performance, pricing, execution, and operational risks.
• Design and continuously enhance risk methodologies, key risk indicators (KRIs), alert thresholds, escalation mechanisms, and pre-trade and post-trade controls covering margin, leverage, exposure limits, latency arbitrage, slippage, and system abuse.
• Lead and develop a team of risk analysts and system monitoring professionals, fostering a culture of proactive risk identification, data-driven decision-making, and effective incident response.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives across Risk, Dealing, Engineering, Infrastructure, Product, and external partners to strengthen risk ownership, governance standards, and response procedures across global markets.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, and AI to improve risk detection capabilities, reduce false positives, identify emerging risk patterns, and continuously enhance monitoring coverage and operational resilience.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in trading risk, market risk, operational risk, trading operations, or risk monitoring within fintech, brokerage, trading, or financial services environments.
• Proven experience designing or enhancing risk monitoring frameworks, trading controls, risk indicators, or operational governance processes.
• Strong analytical and technical capabilities, with hands-on experience in data analysis and risk modelling tools; proficiency in SQL, Python, or advanced Excel is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure and drive cross-functional initiatives across business and technology teams.
• Good command of both English and Mandarin, with openness to frequent business travel between Taiwan and Malaysia.
