They are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead the Hong Kong marketing function and drive business growth through strategic brand building, product marketing, channel development, digital marketing, and consumer engagement initiatives.

Job Description

Strategic Marketing Leadership

• Develop and execute the Hong Kong marketing strategy in line with business objectives and growth targets.
• Drive brand positioning, market penetration, and customer acquisition initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with regional and global stakeholders to localize marketing strategies for the Hong Kong market.

Brand & Product Marketing

• Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, retail, events, PR, influencer, and partnership channels.
• Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and category expansion initiatives.
• Drive consumer engagement and strengthen brand loyalty through impactful marketing programs.
• Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.

Channel & Trade Marketing

• Collaborate closely with sales teams, distributors, retailers, and e-commerce partners to drive demand and sales performance.
• Develop and implement channel marketing programs, promotional campaigns, and retail activation strategies.
• Optimize in-store visibility and customer conversion opportunities.

Digital Marketing & E-commerce

• Lead digital marketing efforts across paid media, social media, SEO/SEM, content marketing, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.
• Analyze campaign performance and business metrics to maximize marketing ROI.
• Leverage data, analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness.

Team Leadership & Budget Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the local marketing team.
• Manage annual marketing budgets and resource allocation.
• Establish KPIs and ensure delivery of measurable business outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of marketing experience, with a significant portion gained within consumer technology, electronics, telecommunications, consumer durables, or related sectors.
• Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing and brand strategies.
• Strong knowledge of product marketing, digital marketing, retail marketing, and e-commerce.
• Demonstrated success in leading product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
• Excellent commercial acumen and understanding of consumer markets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across regional and global teams.
• Proven people leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese.
