Data Scientist – Global Warehouse Project – HKD40k – 55k +Bonus

Our Client has heavily invested in AI/Data with global presence, currently looking to strength their AI team for their Warehouse projects across the world. You'll leverage data-led innovation to execute high-value AI projects that address core operational needs.

Utilizing a rigorous analytical methodology, you will enhance machine learning functionalities throughout our unified retail and digital ecosystem—directly elevating customer satisfaction by delivering tailored, frictionless interactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and iterate on predictive models across diverse structured and unstructured data streams using structured statistical methods.
• Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional partners to pinpoint and rank high-ROI AI opportunities.
• Convert sophisticated data outputs into straightforward, strategic recommendations across integrated physical and online channels.
• Track performance and refine deployed AI applications to maximize long-term commercial impact and customer alignment.
• Monitor emerging developments in predictive ML and generative tools, actively testing and applying relevant breakthroughs.
• Requirements:
• 3-7 years in deep technical fluency in predictive modeling, applied statistics, data transformations, Python, SQL, and core statistical frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Generative AI architectures, foundation models, and prompt/RAG methodologies.
• Methodical approach to problem-solving grounded in evidence and quantitative analysis.
• Proven talent for distilling intricate technical ideas into accessible business terms.
• Inquisitive approach to emerging tools and a drive to turn new techniques into real-world value.
• Customer-centric orientation focused on delivering practical utility to end users.
• Fluent in English is a must, Cantonese and Chinese reading will be preferred
