QA Engineer

Role Description This full-time QA Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Hong Kong SAR, with flexibility for partial work from home. The QA Engineer will design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software products.

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with developers and product teams to understand requirements, identifying defects, documenting issues clearly, and verifying fixes. The role also involves creating and maintaining test documentation, performing manual testing across various environments, and contributing to the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and standards.

The QA Engineer will help refine release criteria, support regression testing, and ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, with a solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Manual Testing, including hands-on experience running tests across different platforms and environments.
• Candidates should possess skills in designing and maintaining Test Cases, including test planning, test data preparation, and test documentation.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to identify, reproduce, and prioritize defects.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setting.
• Experience with test management tools, bug tracking systems, and version control is beneficial.
• Knowledge of automated testing concepts, scripting, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
