Your new role
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring efficient execution of inventory replenishment across multiple distribution centres, cross-docking activities, and last-mile delivery to customers.
- Develop, maintain, and standardise operational documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and work instructions to drive consistency and service excellence.
- Continuously improve warehouse utilisation, fulfilment processes, and inventory control practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage and maintain strong working relationships with 3PL providers, courier services, and warehouse operators to ensure service level commitments are met.
- Ensure all warehousing and transportation activities comply with local regulations, quality standards, and internal governance requirements, while promoting best practices in product handling, storage, and distribution
- Facilitate regular operational review meetings with internal teams and external service providers to address critical issues, remove process barriers, and maintain high service standards.
- Track, analyse, and report logistics performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Set operational expectations with third-party logistics partners, conduct performance reviews, and identify improvement opportunities to drive continuous enhancement.
- Validate logistics service charges and invoices against agreed service levels and contractual rate cards, ensuring accuracy and compliance prior to payment processing.
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations, with hands-on experience managing third-party logistics providers.
- Knowledge of logistics and trade operations within the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and related cross-border supply chain processes would be an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems (WMS), preferably SAP.
- Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel regularly between Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area for operational support and stakeholder management.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and multicultural environments.
- Capable of building collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and service providers to drive operational excellence.
