AP & AR - Senior Accountant - Contract | Hong Kong, HK | In-Office

The Company

Our client, a fast-growing player in the new energy sector, is seeking a Senior Accountant (AP & AR) to oversee end-to-end accounts payable and receivable operations while partnering closely with business stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and contributing to business growth through strong financial control and operational support.

The Role

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, billing, and collections.
• Review supplier invoices for contracts and purchase orders, resolving discrepancies with internal teams and vendors.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue payments.
• Perform supplier, customer, and account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including revenue and expense reporting.
• Assist with cash flow management, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial controls.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and Project teams on business and finance initiatives

Your Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with exposure to both AP and AR functions.
• Strong understanding of billing, invoicing, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with NetSuite, SAP, or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
