VP - Director, in house lawyer, special sits and private credit | Hong Kong, HK

Role Purpose

In-house Legal Counsel managing all APAC special situations, credit investments, distressed debt, and corporate restructuring legal frameworks.

Transaction Execution: Leads end-to-end legal structuring, drafting, negotiation, and public/private portfolio exit workflows for complex credit and structured finance.

Distressed & Litigation: Manages cross-border restructurings, insolvency proceedings, security enforcement, and investment disputes, coordinating closely with external counsel.

Risk & Compliance: Governs legal risk, monitors Hong Kong and UK financial regulatory frameworks, and coordinates with internal compliance and risk functions.

Requirements

6–12 years PQE (top-tier firm and in-house asset management mix), LL.B./J.D., common law admission, and fluent English drafting skills.
