Biology Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Biology Teacher to join a well-established international school in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Biology lessons across the secondary age range, inspire a love of science, and contribute positively to a collaborative school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Biology lessons across Key Stage 3, (I)GCSE and A Level (or equivalent international curricula).
• Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of students with a range of abilities.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a passion for science.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate assessment records.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and the continued development of the Science Department.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings, professional development and extracurricular activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student wellbeing and academic success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or a closely related subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Biology at secondary level, including Key Stage 3 and (I)GCSE.
• Ability to teach A Level Biology or an equivalent post-16 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
