About Our Client

Our client is a global digital advertising company that helps connect leading platforms with advertisers and markets worldwide, providing media sales, digital marketing, and technology solutions. Representing the world's leading platforms, including TikTok, Amazon, Google, and nearly 55 others, we operate in 130+ markets across new and existing geographies.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive commercial revenue targets for Hong Kong, with a mandate to significantly grow market share.
• Leverage an established network of agency and client relationships to generate new business and deepen existing partnerships.
• Execute trading deals with media agencies and develop direct client relationships.
• Lead and inspire a small, high-performing team of approximately five people, with the opportunity to grow the team over time.
• Assess and develop existing team capabilities, making recommendations on structure where appropriate.
• Act as the senior commercial face of the business in the market, representing the company at industry events and through active networking.
• Collaborate with regional leadership on strategy, reporting directly to the APAC leadership team.
• Where applicable, explore China outbound commercial opportunities as a stretch remit.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in senior sales or commercial roles within the digital advertising or media industry in Hong Kong.
• Strong, established relationships with media agencies and direct clients in Hong Kong.
• Demonstrated ability to close complex commercial and trading deals.
• Deep understanding of the Hong Kong media and advertising ecosystem.
• Native or fluent Cantonese speaker, with strong English communication skills.
• Based in Hong Kong; local candidates are strongly preferred.

Preferred

• Experience carrying a China outbound sales remit in addition to Hong Kong.
• Experience managing or mentoring a small sales team.
• Ambition to grow into a Country Head or broader regional leadership role.
