Senior Blockchain Developer - Onchain ( Hong Kong based, 100 Remote)

Overview

The Senior Blockchain Developer - Onchain plays a crucial role in the advancement and development of blockchain-based technologies and solutions within our organization. Being at the forefront of the decentralized revolution, this position requires an individual who possesses a deep understanding of blockchain architecture, smart contract development, and decentralized applications.

You will work closely with other developers, product managers, and business analysts to create secure and scalable systems that leverage the benefits and features of blockchain technology. As a remote position based in Hong Kong, you will contribute to international projects that span various sectors, providing innovative solutions while ensuring the effective integration of onchain functionalities.

This role not only requires robust technical abilities but also a collaborative mindset, as you will mentor junior team members and engage in cross-departmental efforts to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the acquisition and analysis of blockchain data.
• Responsible for iterative development, deployment of products and online problem solving, performance tuning, etc.
• Coordinate with other blockchain engineers to understand and implement the latest blockchain technologies.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve technical issues related to the product.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency incidents related to the systems in charge.
• Coordinate with the product team to implement new features and optimize existing ones.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, 6+ years of software development experience.
• Understand the implementation principle of blockchain technology, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Super Ledger and EOS.
• Possess knowledge or experience in big data, have project experience related to web scraping.
• Proficient in Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, MyBatis, Kafka, Redis, MySQL, Tomcat.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; enjoys delving into new technologies.
• Proficiency in both english and mandarin is required to communicate effectively with both english and mandarin speaking stakeholders.
