Underwriter, Financial Lines

Responsibilities

• Handle the basic underwriting of small to medium size risk
• Support the team in some adminstrative work
• Provide quotation for broker limit and follow up to negotiate afterwards on terms and conditions
• Share office administrative work within division
• Accountable for own business production
• Relationship building with key brokers

Requirements

• Fluent English Language Mandatory with Fluent Mandarin a plus
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Insurance, Banking, or Accounting
• Excellent people skills in order to work harmony with the team and also building strong broker relationships
• Detail and Result oriented. Good with numbers. Strong analytical skills
• Solid team player and have a do what it takes to get the job done attitude
• Be professional and upfront in dealing with each team member and external business relationships
• Able to take initiative to be creative in providing solutions quickly
• Be an attentive listener and willing to learn
• A willingness to learn and explore how AI can enhance your role and the broader organization is expected.
