Property Underwriter

Overview

We are looking for a junior Underwriter to join our client's property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for insurance professionals with 1-2 years of experience who are looking to build a long-term underwriting career within a collaborative and supportive environment.

• Open to fresh graduates with an educational background in Insurance, Risk Management, or related disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Support underwriting activities across Property insurance portfolios.
• Assist in the evaluation, assessment, and pricing of new and renewal business.
• Work closely with brokers and internal stakeholders to manage underwriting submissions.
• Prepare underwriting documentation, reports, and policy administration tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience within General Insurance.
• Previous Property Underwriting experience is preferred.
• Exposure to Corporate, Commercial, or Global/Multinational/International business would be advantageous.
• Candidates from underwriting support, underwriting assistant, or junior underwriting backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in English.
