Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and operationally proficient Business Analyst (BA) / Senior Business Analyst (SBA) to join our Card Operations team at Reap. This unique hybrid role bridges hands-on card operations expertise with strategic business analysis, driving complex cross-functional projects while maintaining operational proficiency across Card Design, Logistics, and BIN Management.

Leveling Guidance

• Business Analyst (BA): 2–3 years of relevant experience
• Senior Business Analyst (SBA): 4+ years of relevant experience

The ideal candidate will lead special projects requiring requirements synthesis across multiple stakeholders, translate business needs into actionable technical requirements, and provide analytical rigor to operational challenges.

You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Implementation, Compliance teams, and external partners like card schemes and card manufacturers to drive initiatives from conception through implementation.

This role will be based in either Hong Kong or Singapore working during HKT hours with occasional flexibility (approximately 20% of the working week) for CST collaboration to facilitate global coordination.

You're An Ideal Candidate If You

• Have extensive, end-to-end Business Analysis experience (requirements discovery, stakeholder management, process design, documentation, delivery support, and post-launch iteration)
• Have experience in Fintech, Banking, or Retail, ideally in roles such as IT Product Analyst or Product Analyst where you’ve had a direct hand in buildouts of new products or market launches

This is a unique hybrid position that bridges operational execution with strategic business analysis. The role combines hands-on Card Operations capability with advanced analytical and project management skills to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

Operations Domain

• Maintain operational proficiency across Card Design, Logistics, and BIN Management domains
• Serve as backup for BAU operations when needed, ensuring business continuity
• Handle escalated operational issues that require deep analytical thinking
• Provide operational expertise and context to strategic projects

Business Analysis & Special Projects

• Lead complex, cross-functional projects requiring requirements synthesis across multiple stakeholders
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams
• Challenge technical teams constructively with enough technical knowledge to identify gaps, constraints, and opportunities
• Build business cases, analyze trade-offs, and provide data-driven recommendations
• Design and document operational processes, workflows, and system requirements
• Manage stakeholder alignment across Product, Engineering, Implementation, Compliance, and external partners to launch new products and/or market expansions

Key Competencies

• Requirements Engineering: Ability to elicit, document, and validate complex requirements from diverse stakeholders
• Technical Fluency: Understanding of card issuing infrastructure, APIs, integrations, and technical constraints to engage productively with engineering teams
• AI Enablement: Experience applying AI tools and workflows to improve delivery, and partnering on AI transformation initiatives (e.g., building internal agents, AI-assisted ops tooling, or automation)
• Analytical Rigor: Data analysis, process modeling, impact assessment, and ROI evaluation
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to drive initiatives without direct authority, building consensus across teams
• Operational Context: Deep understanding of card operations realities to ensure solutions are practical and implementable
