A leading Sub-contractor, we are seeking an experienced (Assistant) Quantity Surveyor or QS Assistant to join our team based in Kwun Tong.
Salary: HKD 25-33K
Related QS Experience: at least 1 year up
Project: ASD, Building and A&A and Facade projects
Preparing and maintaining accurate bills of quantities for building projects
Conducting detailed cost estimates and feasibility studies for construction works
Managing contract documentation and administering building contracts
Monitoring project costs and providing regular financial reports to stakeholders
Liaising with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to resolve commercial and contractual matters
Preparing variation orders and evaluating cost implications of design changes
Conducting site inspections and preparing measurement and valuation reports
Assisting with procurement activities and vendor negotiations
Maintaining comprehensive project records and documentation
Providing commercial advice on contract terms and risk mitigation strategies
Professional qualification as a Quantity Surveyor (QS) or equivalent qualification recognised in Hong Kong, or in progress towards qualification
at least 1 years or above of related QS working experience.
Proven experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or contract administration within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of building construction methods, materials and costs
Proficiency in measurement and valuation practices in accordance with recognised standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quantity surveying software
Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
