KorumLegal is looking for a Legal Counsel (2–4 PQE) to join our panel of legal professionals for an exciting contract assignment with a leading Fintech/Web3 company in Hong Kong. This is an initial 3-month contract role with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position. As this is an urgent engagement, candidates with immediate availability will be strongly preferred.
As part of a newly established legal team, you will review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including payment services agreements, banking and strategic partnership agreements, vendor contracts and intra-group arrangements.
You will provide legal support on product launches, market expansion initiatives, regulatory compliance and data privacy matters across Hong Kong, APAC and other international markets. You will also assist with regulatory enquiries, complaints and disputes, while monitoring legal and regulatory developments and providing practical, business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a common law-qualified lawyer with 2–4 years' PQE and strong experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts. Prior in-house experience is preferred but not essential. Candidates must be fluent in English and Cantonese, possess strong stakeholder management skills, and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Experience in fintech, payments, financial services, technology or other regulated industries will be viewed favourably.
