Head of Demand Generation & Marketing (Contract to Full Time)

The Opportunity

Nicklpass is the control plane for enterprise SaaS and AI spend — giving CFOs and procurement teams real visibility into what they're buying, what's actually being used, and what it's costing them. We're post-seed, growing fast, and building pipeline across financial services, media, entertainment, and global manufacturing.

We're looking for our first dedicated demand gen hire: someone who builds the engine that puts Nicklpass in front of the right buyers, at the right moment, with the right message. You won't inherit a playbook. You'll write one. This role starts as a part-time contract (20–30 hours/week for up to 3 months). The path to full-time is straightforward: show the pipeline impact, and we convert.

What You're Marketing (And Why It Wins): Most spend management tools tell you what you're paying. Nicklpass tells you what you're actually using — and that changes the message entirely. Our patented architecture captures real utilization data at the seat level across SaaS and AI tools. That means we're not selling another dashboard — we're selling proof. Which teams are using what. Which licenses are idle.

Which AI tools are running up costs nobody authorized. That's a different conversation than other vendors in this space are having. Your job is to make sure the right buyers find it. The angles you'll lean on:

• Utilization data, not just spend data — competitors can tell you what you paid; we tell you what you got. That's a marketable differentiator that writes itself.
• Patented architecture — protected IP gives your content and outreach credibility that "innovative solution" copy never can.
• AI spend as an urgent wedge — every mid-market company is trying to figure out what their AI tools are actually costing them. We have the answer, right now.
• Customer proof that opens doors — a global financial services firm achieved a 53% cost reduction. A top-five global PR firm is an active and growing user. These aren't case studies to bury in a PDF. They're the headline.
• A business case generator built for closers — an interactive ROI tool that builds a prospect-specific savings analysis in real time. Your job includes making sure buyers encounter it before they talk to a rep.

What You'll Own

• Lead List Building, Qualification, and Booking - you'll work directly with the CEO to decide who we're targeting, how we're doing it, and get people booked on the CEO and Head of Sales calendars.
• Inbound & content engine — build and execute a content strategy that generates qualified inbound: thought leadership, SEO-driven articles, email nurtures, and LinkedIn content targeting CFOs, Heads of Procurement, and IT leaders at mid-market companies. You're not just producing content; you're building a machine that brings buyers to us.
• Outbound enablement — partner closely with sales to design sequences, messaging frameworks, and campaign assets that support cold and warm outbound. When a rep opens a cold account, the prospect should already have seen something from Nicklpass.
• Paid and owned channel strategy — own our paid social (LinkedIn primary), organic social presence, and email programs. Prioritize ruthlessly based on pipeline contribution, not vanity metrics.
• ICP clarity and segmentation — refine and document our Ideal Customer Profile across financial services, media, and global manufacturing. Build the segment-specific messaging that makes our outreach feel targeted, not templated.
• Campaign execution for vertical expansion — we're actively expanding into Latin America. You'll build Spanish-language campaign assets and localized messaging for LATAM enterprise prospects. Spanish fluency is a meaningful bonus.
• Pipeline reporting — own the attribution model. Connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue so we're always investing in what works and killing what doesn't.
• Website and conversion optimization — work with our product and design team to improve landing page performance, A/B test messaging, and turn traffic into demo requests.

Who You Are

2+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with demonstrated demand gen or growth ownership You've marketed into Finance, Procurement, or IT — or you've worked on products where the CFO had budget authority You understand enterprise buying cycles and know how to build content and campaigns for multi-stakeholder deals, not just individual buyers You write well.

You can produce a compelling CFO-targeted email, a punchy LinkedIn post, and a technically credible case study — and you know which register each one calls for You're data-driven: you track what moves pipeline, not just what gets clicks You're comfortable in a startup environment — you build the plane while flying it, and you're good at it You're excited about a contract-to-hire structure: you want to prove your impact fast and you don't need hand-holding to do it Spanish fluency is a meaningful bonus — we're actively expanding into Latin America.
