Jr. Operations Engineer

We are looking for a motivated entry-level Operations Engineer to join our team in Secaucus, NJ . In this role, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to maintain and enhance mission-critical, low-latency trading systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in system administration, networking, and automation while contributing to the operational success of our platform.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the performance of low-latency trading systems to ensure seamless operation.
• Assist in resolving incidents by troubleshooting issues and minimizing system downtime in collaboration with senior team members.
• Perform essential operational tasks such as system monitoring, log analysis, and routine maintenance.
• Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Gain hands-on experience with Linux/Unix system administration and networking technologies.
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of detailed documentation for systems and processes.
• Participate in rotational weekend work to ensure system reliability and availability.
• Travel occasionally to the data center as required for hardware or system maintenance tasks.
