Junior Account Manager- Target

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Junior Account Manager to oversee key retail accounts with a strong emphasis on accuracy, communication, and partnership management. Prior experience working on the wholesale side, managing various systems, workflows, and product requirements, is preferred.

Experience supporting or managing accounts with major national retailers, including Target Store, is highly desirable. In this role, you will communicate with our internal teams and the customer, ensuring smooth execution across development, production, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day account communication, serving as the main point of contact for assigned apparel accounts, such as Target Stores.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle—from line development and sample coordination to production approvals and final delivery.
• Ensure all customer requirements, timelines, compliance standards, and technical specifications for retailers such as Target Store are met with precision.
• Partner closely with Design, Product Development, Production, and Sales to ensure accurate information flow and seamless execution.
• Track orders, monitor production milestones, and proactively flag delays, risks, or required adjustments.
• Maintain detailed documentation in internal systems, ensuring accuracy across style information, PO updates, and delivery schedules.
• Manage all sample tracking from production to retailer following internal organizational standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in apparel account management or wholesale sales support.
• Experience supporting major retail accounts, preferably Target Store and knowledge of POL is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of apparel development, production timelines, and retail requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and order management tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
