Operations & Logistics Coordinator — YJM Apparel Group

YJM Apparel Group is hiring an Operations & Logistics Coordinator to own the day-to-day flow of goods, paperwork, and money across our supply chain. You’ll work directly with the CFO, our freight forwarders, and overseas factories to keep shipments moving and the business running smoothly. This role reports directly to senior management.

We’re looking for someone who is obsessive about detail, comfortable across operations, finance, and logistics, and who can hold a lot of moving pieces in their head without dropping any.

What you’ll do

• Track containers from factory through port to warehouse — know where every shipment is and what’s holding it up
• Coordinate container releases with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouses; resolve delays before they become problems
• Audit freight billing statements (ocean freight, debit notes, rebills) and flag discrepancies for follow-up
• Reconcile factory invoices against shipped quantities and PO terms (FOB and LDP); catch pricing, quantity, and duty errors
• Partner with the CFO on cash flow timing, payment scheduling, and vendor reconciliation
• Maintain inventory and shipping reports — PO vs. commit, in-stock status, monthly shipping summaries
• Communicate daily with overseas factories, freight forwarders (Forerunner Logistics and others), and internal teams
• Flag anything unusual — net-zero rebills, unexplained deductions, missed IHDs — and chase it down

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years in apparel operations, logistics, import coordination, or a controller/ops hybrid role
• Strong Excel skills (pivots, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas — not just data entry)
• Working knowledge of import terminology: HBL, CBM, OCF, FOB, LDP, debit notes, POD, IHD
• Experience working with major retail accounts (Fashion Nova, Ross, or similar) is a plus
• Extreme attention to detail — you double-check the numbers and notice when something is $200 off
• Self-starter who can manage their own follow-ups and doesn’t need to be chased
• Clear written communicator (you’ll be emailing factories, forwarders, and customers daily)
• Korean speaker (not necessary)

Location: hybrid. Compensation: $75,000-$80,000
