About

We are seeking a Motion Planning Engineer to help develop the autonomous navigation and decision-making capabilities that power our next generation of robotics solutions.

You will work at the intersection of robotics, software, and operations, developing algorithms that enable autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) to safely and efficiently navigate dynamic warehouse environments while optimizing throughput, productivity, and fleet performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop motion planning, path planning, and trajectory generation algorithms for autonomous warehouse robots.
• Build solutions for navigation in dynamic environments involving people, forklifts, inventory, and other mobile robots.
• Develop obstacle avoidance, route optimization, and multi-robot coordination capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with perception, controls, simulation, and systems engineering teams to deliver robust autonomous behaviors.
• Validate performance through simulation, warehouse testing, and deployment in production environments.
• Improve system efficiency, safety, reliability, and scalability across large robotic fleets.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong software development experience in C++ and/or Python.
• Experience with motion planning, autonomous navigation, robotics algorithms, or mobile robotic systems.
• Understanding of path planning, optimization, controls, state estimation, and robotic system architecture.
• Experience developing and testing software on real-world robotic platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), warehouse automation, logistics robotics, or industrial automation systems.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, Linux, simulation environments, and fleet management systems.
• Experience with multi-agent planning, task allocation, or large-scale robotic deployments.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, fulfillment centers, or supply chain automation.
