Peninsula Orthopedic Associates Physical Therapy (POA PT) is seeking a motivated, compassionate California-licensed Physical Therapist to join our growing outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine practice.

We welcome therapists with 2+ years of outpatient orthopedic experience, but we also enthusiastically encourage new graduates to apply.

Whether you're an experienced clinician or just beginning your career, you'll be supported through our dedicated mentorship program, providing one-on-one guidance from experienced orthopedic physical therapists to help you develop your clinical skills, confidence, and professional growth.

As part of a multidisciplinary orthopedic practice, you'll collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and rehabilitation aides to provide exceptional, patient-centered care.

Schedule

• Full-time (40 hours)
• Preferred schedule: Four 10-hour shifts
• Flexible scheduling
• Monday-Friday (hours to be determined)
• Compensation

Salary: $98,000-$115,000 annually, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Perform objective measurements, including isometric, functional, and performance testing.
• Progress patients according to established clinical protocols and best practices.
• Supervise patients participating in therapeutic exercise programs alongside physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and long-term wellness strategies.
• Participate in clinical education and mentorship opportunities as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional standards of the clinic.
• Perform other administrative or clinical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist license required.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical reasoning and commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Passion for providing exceptional patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary orthopedic team.
