Operations General Manager

As an Operations General Manager, you will lead and oversee multiple contracted services for clients, generating revenue between $2M and $15M+ to meet operational and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs.

Your responsibilities will vary based on the client, and services could encompass food service, facility support, custodial services, retail, lodging, transportation, and more. You will inspire and manage a team to provide exemplary service to our clients, supported by your understanding of their business, strong relationship-building skills, financial acumen, and a steadfast focus on safety.

The expected salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $128,000.00. This range reflects Aramark's good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team providing expert operations management in contracted services, ensuring hands-on execution of operations.
• Build and maintain client and community relationships, continually assessing operations and developing plans to enhance service and drive employee and customer satisfaction.
• Develop, mentor, and lead a management team and staff capable of achieving organizational objectives.
• Propose methods and resources for service improvement and growth, informed by an understanding of operational needs and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with Finance to manage budgets and design improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining all necessary records and reports.
• Uphold Aramark's standards of operation, including safety and business conduct policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
• Ability to focus on client and customer service, with an entrepreneurial mindset for business growth.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
• Ability to interpret and implement contractual requirements and identify operational opportunities.
• Relevant experience in the service industry, contract services, or hospitality.
• Proven leadership experience, successfully guiding other managers.
• Experience in creating and managing departmental budgets, financial controls, and analysis.
• Expertise in crafting sales strategies and implementing operational programs and initiatives.

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing. Uniforms and PPE may also be required.
