If you’re early in your career and looking for an opportunity to grow with a small, high-impact team, this role offers the chance to work on modern web interfaces in a collaborative, agile environment. You’ll help build intuitive, responsive user experiences using React and best-in-class UI practices.
Required Skills & Experience 2–4 years of professional experience in frontend development Strong proficiency with React (including hooks and component-based design) Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS (Flexbox, Grid, pre/post-processors) Familiarity with Git and agile development workflows Ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible interfaces Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Desired Skills & Experience Experience building or maintaining SPAs (Single Page Applications) Exposure to 3D visualization tools such as Three.js or WebGL Familiarity with design systems and component libraries (e.g., Storybook, Material UI, Tailwind) Experience optimizing frontend performance Understanding of CI/CD workflows or frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)
Designing and building scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Developing and maintaining modern user interfaces using React Collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to implement seamless UX Participating in UI/UX discussions and advocating for best frontend practices Writing modular, scalable, and responsive frontend code Testing and debugging interfaces to ensure stability and performance Improving existing components for better maintainability and scalability The Offer You Will Receive The Following Benefits Opportunity to grow with a high-impact, future-focused engineering team Ownership over core UI features in an evolving platform Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite in downtown Chicago with lake and river views 2 days remote Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis now and in the future.
