Brief Summary/Primary Purpose Of The Job

The Junior Market Analyst will facilitate the company's needs for professional market trend data, consumer

insights research, landscape and penetration analysis and presentation development.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Evaluate 3rd party market trend data and build a professional presentation leveraging results that are relative to our private label and OEM customers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
• Research, develop and cite sources for market and design trends, innovation, and best-selling items into a comprehensive report including the retail, wholesale, specialty, e-commerce and repair/remodel verticals.
• Update product landscapes by brand, platform, finish, function, design type and retail price point no less than quarterly for the U.S. This includes all key players in the big box, mass merchant, specialty and wholesale trade channels.
• Create, launch, and effectively communicate the results of Consumer Insight Surveys in a professionalpresentation to validate new product recommendations to customers.
• Research best practices for on-line content with key customers and formulate recommended changes toimprove the consumer buying experience.
• Proof and make edits to product packaging copy as needed. Manage Spanish, French and English translations as needed by customer through assigned 3rd party company.
• Walk the retail, wholesale and mass merchant trade as assigned to develop comprehensive reports on what is new in design, innovation, promotions, merchandising and signage.
• Attend customer meetings, conference calls, trade shows and store walks as needed.
• Perform other office duties (skilled or unskilled) as assigned by your immediate supervisor.

• Knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
• Expertise in creating professional presentations. Good aesthetic vision and background/ know-how in

light graphic design is a plus.

• Previous work experience/training in consumer goods. Experience with big box and co-op retail and

Plumbing Wholesale Customers Preferred.

• Individual must be detail oriented, flexible and creative with strong interpersonal skills.

Travel Requirements: Might involve limited business travel, as needed.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in business or related field. At least two years' work experience

and/or training in a similar field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, interpret and respond to general business correspondences.

Ability to effectively communicate information to different stakeholders of the company.
