Liability Claims Adjuster

Best Claims Service, LLC is an independent insurance claims adjusting company seeking an experienced full-time liability adjuster. The adjuster will work from his/her home with most claims handling completed by phone, email or fax; however, the role will occasionally require field work such as scene investigations and in-person statements, therefore, the adjuster must reside in Texas.

Most claims will involve auto and truck accidents. The adjuster will investigate details of the claim, obtain necessary information/documents, interview involved parties, assign vehicle appraisals, follow client-specific protocols/directions, report timely to clients, request settlement checks and handle claim to conclusion or as directed by the client.

The adjuster must be able to type their own reports, multitask between multiple files and other incoming/outgoing claims correspondence, as well as be proficient in MS Office and other business-related software.

The adjuster will be paid on a competitive commission basis for billable hourly charges to our clients for work performed on claims. There are no health insurance benefits; however, after one year, the adjuster is eligible to contribute to the Simple IRA with a company match (currently 3%).

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years auto liability claims handling experience
• Preferred BI and Commercial Handling Experience
• Texas P & C Adjuster License
• Self-driven, highly motivated work style
• Excellent typing, writing and computer skills
• Professional verbal and written communication
• Work independently and efficiently to meet required deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41.25 - $49.80 per hour
