Enterprise Data Architect in Austin, TX (Hybrid) only local Austin or Texas

Dice is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to evaluate and modernize TxDOT's data management capabilities. The role focuses on managing the execution of the Data Management Strategy and providing thought leadership for digital transformation and cloud initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define the execution approach for the exercise
• Develop TxDOT Data management organization's customer engagement strategy
• Assist in the definition of TxDOT Data Management organization structure
• Assist in the development of detailed execution plans along with costing
• Assist in the Technology selection process
• Anticipate bottlenecks, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and provide escalation management
• Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities
• Use organizational, presentation, and customer service skills to get buy in from the business

• 10 years of Experience with Enterprise Data Management architecture
• 10 years of Experience with solution development
• 10 years of Ability to architect and implement solutions based on emerging technologies and technical landscape
• 1 year Working on state/local agencies
