An established heavy civil contractor is seeking a Senior Civil Estimator to join its growing team in Central Texas. This position offers the opportunity to lead estimates on complex infrastructure projects while playing a key role in business growth and project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the estimating process for heavy civil construction projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost estimates
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
• Participate in bid reviews and project handoffs to operations teams
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and preconstruction planning
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors

Qualifications

• 7+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction
• Experience pricing projects involving earthwork, underground utilities, drainage, roadway, bridge, or site development scopes
• Strong understanding of project costs, bid strategies, and contract documents
• Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of the Texas construction market preferred
