A growing advanced manufacturing business in Austin is seeking a hands-on Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to take ownership of a critical production process. You’ll be responsible for improving safety, quality, yield, throughput and equipment uptime while solving complex technical issues across process equipment, controls, sensors and machine software.

This is a practical, production-focused role for an engineer who enjoys being close to the manufacturing line. You’ll lead root-cause investigations, implement corrective actions, introduce process and equipment improvements, support new product introduction, and use manufacturing data to deliver measurable, sustained results.

You’ll also work closely with operations, quality, maintenance, automation teams and external equipment vendors.

Essential experience

• Process or manufacturing engineering experience within a high-volume technical manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on equipment and process troubleshooting capability
• Experience owning manufacturing KPIs such as yield, uptime, scrap, quality or throughput
• Practical knowledge of root-cause analysis, process validation and continuous improvement
• Ability to use production data, SPC or similar analytical methods to identify and resolve process variation
• Strong cross-functional communication and the confidence to lead issues through to resolution

Experience with MES, equipment recipes, controls, automation, SQL or manufacturing dashboards would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.
