Back Bay Social is seeking a dynamic, experienced General Manager to lead our team in one of Boston’s most vibrant neighborhoods. We’re a high-energy, guest-focused restaurant known for great food, craft cocktails, and a lively social atmosphere—and we’re looking for a leader who thrives in that environment.

What You’ll Do

Lead all front-of-house operations with a strong, visible presence on the floor

Build, train, and develop a high-performing team

Drive a culture of hospitality, accountability, and consistency

Partner with the culinary team to execute service at a high level

Manage scheduling, labor, and cost controls

Maintain and elevate guest experience standards

Handle hiring, coaching, and performance management

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations while planning for long-term success

Who You Are

An experienced restaurant leader (GM or strong AGM ready to step up)

Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

Hands-on, positive, and solutions-driven

Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Strong communicator who leads by example

Organized, detail-oriented, and financially aware

Manages on the floor not from the office
