Full-stack Developer ( Banking /finance Domain)

Location: Boston, MA, Onsite. (Need locals to MA )

Duration: Long Term

Mandatory Skills : Focused on a platform called FX Connect (FXC)-which is typically related to foreign exchange (trading systems) and Java, Oracle, JMS, WebSockets, React, and Python.

Highly versatile and experienced full-stack developer with deep expertise across both backend and frontend technologies.

Expert-level proficiency in Core Java, including advanced concepts such as multithreading and concurrency, as well as strong experience working with Oracle databases, specifically SQL and PL/SQL. On the backend, the candidate must have a solid understanding of messaging and integration patterns, including hands-on experience with JMS-based messaging protocols; familiarity with Sonic MQ is strongly preferred.

Experience working with WebSocket protocols is essential to support real-time communication requirements within the platform. On the frontend, must demonstrate expert-level capability in React UI development, along with a strong command of HTML5 and the broader React ecosystem.

The role is heavily focused on modernizing the user interface and will involve the migration of a complex Sell-Side thick-client Swing UI to a Web-based LINK platform. This work is critical to the success of the Sell-Side Web strategy, and any loss of expertise in this area would significantly impact ongoing and future delivery.

Above entry-level, working knowledge of Python, as there will be occasional involvement in FX Connect (FXC) Data Hub development and related initiatives. Rapidly understand a highly complex full-stack technology landscape Operate with minimal supervision and seamlessly align design and development decisions with the existing system architecture and overall platform strategy.
