Job Description

Senior Networking Systems Engineer - Southern Massachusetts (Remote) HPE Networking is a leader in AI-driven, next-generation networking solutions that help organizations modernize infrastructure, secure their environments, and deliver exceptional user experiences. We are seeking a Senior Networking Systems Engineer to support enterprise customers throughout Southern Massachusetts.

This is a remote, territory-based position. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory and be available to travel regularly to customer sites.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will partner with Territory Managers to identify opportunities, design innovative networking solutions, and guide customers through every stage of the sales cycle-from discovery and solution design to Proof of Concept (PoC) and deployment.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the senior pre-sales technical advisor for enterprise customers within your assigned territory.
• Partner with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities and develop winning account strategies.
• Design and present end-to-end networking solutions that address customer business and technical requirements.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Develop solution architectures, technical proposals, and implementation recommendations.
• Position HPE Networking solutions against competitive offerings by clearly articulating technical and business value.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Support channel partners and demand-generation activities to expand business opportunities.
• Maintain a strong understanding of emerging networking technologies and competitive market trends.
• Manage a healthy opportunity pipeline and support complex sales engagements through successful closure.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or pre-sales experience supporting enterprise networking environments.
• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to design and present technical solutions that solve complex customer challenges.
• Experience working with executive and technical stakeholders throughout the sales process.
• Aruba Networking and/or Juniper Mist platforms
• Routing & Switching
• Enterprise Wireless Networking
• Network Security
• Network Access Control (NAC), including Aruba Clear
• Pass, Cisco ISE, Cloud NAC, or Juniper Access Assurance
• Wireless design, deployment, troubleshooting, and pre-/post-site surveys
• Enterprise network architecture and solution design
• Industry certifications such as CWNA, CWDP, CWSP, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, or equivalent.
• Experience developing technical proposals and implementation specifications.
• Experience building and leading customer Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Strong understanding of competitive networking technologies and enterprise solution selling.

• Remote, territory-based role supporting customers throughout Southern Massachusetts.
• Candidates must reside within the assigned territory.
• Travel to customer sites is expected approximately three days per week for customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept.
