Join our dynamic team at the forefront of medical discovery as a Sr. Research Lab Technician in the laboratory of John Harris, MD, PhD. We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional eager to contribute to groundbreaking translational research in autoimmune skin diseases like vitiligo.
In this vital role, you will manage essential laboratory operations and execute cutting-edge experimental protocols, including tissue processing, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and molecular cloning.
Working closely with a passionate team of scientists and clinicians to turn scientific insights into life-changing therapies, you will master advanced methods such as multiplex ELISA, RNA sequencing preparation, and in vivo disease modeling.

Core Technical Competencies
Cellular Analysis: Flow cytometry, cell sorting, and primary cell culture.
Tissue Pathology: Immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence.
Molecular Biology: RNA/DNA extraction, qPCR, and Western blotting.
Disease Modeling: In vivo mouse handling, dosing, and colony management.
Data Systems: Digital inventory tracking and electronic lab notebooks.Summary
Carries out a broad range of technically advanced research activities and procedures; evaluates conclusions and has considerable latitude to modify or devise methods and techniques as necessary to achieve desired results; typically supervises technical and sometimes administrative elements of the research unit.
Helps onboard new staff and train them in the lab.
