Director of Operations

Our client, Tech Site Services, LLC, located in Columbia, MD, brings over four decades of hands-on experience to the mission-critical facility infrastructure services market.

For our many clients, we are a proven facilities maintenance and management partner, providing boots on the ground mechanical and electrical service, facility asset management, on site staffing, preventive maintenance, facility retrofits, and equipment upgrades and life cycle replacements. . Tech Site Services provides cost-effective support for a wide range of clients through a mix of tailored onsite staff solutions backed up by a team of field technicians and an engaged corporate staff.

We monitor client assets and schedule preventive maintenance actions through our National Operations Center (NOC). The NOC is a 24/7, 365-day-per-year operation with offsite backup for all operations.

Director of Operations Role

The Director of Operations is responsible for the overall delivery of the mission-critical facilities preventive maintenance plan and capital projects program. This position will directly manage the operations of the service and installation departments to meet and exceed client requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience directly managing preventive maintenance programs for commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, federal government, and data center facility MEP systems, including knowledge of small projects for equipment replacements and retrofits. This position reports directly to the President.

• Ensures all preventive maintenance contract obligations are fulfilled on an annual basis. Collaborate with internal team for contract renewals, adds, moves, and changes.
• Ensures all preventive maintenance contracts are being completed on time and under budget. Responsible for monthly work in progress financial reporting to President and Controller.
• Ensures the computerized maintenance management system is providing complete, accurate, reliable, and timely information for internal utilization and client satisfaction.
• Ensures relationships are maintained with our subcontractors and vendor partners.
• Collaborate with internal Account Managers to provide guidance to clients on contract renewals, repairs, equipment replacements, and capital budget planning.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to develop maintenance, service, and repair scopes of work.
• Provide timely, accurate, and thorough evaluations of contract performance and provide recommendations and corrective action as needed.
• Provide ongoing oversight and development of our QC/QA program.
• Responsible for assessing field manpower and staffing needs, identify shortfalls and assist in talent recruitment.
• Knowledge and utilization of various database systems for financial reporting and asset tracking. (ERP: Foundations CMMS: Workforce Mobilizer)

Compensation

($150,000.00 – $200,000.00) negotiable.
