Learning Strategy Consultant

PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROLE REQUIRES UP TO 100% TRAVEL. CANDIDATE MUST BE A US CITIZEN AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN SECURITY CLEARANCE. This role focuses on organization and project management skills rather than conducting training.

As a Federal Learning Strategy Consultant, you will provide critical support during training delivery and go-live phases at client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Tailor and execute training strategies that enhance user adoption, reduce resistance, and achieve project goals.
• Stay updated with deployment and sustainment methodologies and effectively communicate changes.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and offer recommendations for improvements based on performance metrics.
• Submit accurate timesheets and forecasts in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with forecasting targets.
• Engage in internal and external meetings to promote learning best practices.
• Show proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%) and work additional or irregular hours as necessary.
• Contribute to a positive workplace by maintaining a constructive attitude and collaborating effectively on team objectives.
• Perform additional responsibilities required for ongoing learning and professional advancement.
• Achieve or exceed competency targets aligned with your role.
• Adhere to all Oracle policies and procedures.

Skills Required

• Project Management (basic knowledge with support)
• Basic understanding of Revenue concepts
• Can independently execute High Impact Service Line Processes
• Working understanding of Executive Communication Skills (with support)
• Independent ability in Facilitation and Presentation
• Can independently apply EHRM & FCM Methodology
• Basic understanding of Adult Learning Principles (with support)
• Familiarity with core clinical, revenue, and integrated systems relevant to VA domain
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Oracle learning tools

Basic Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of combined higher education and relevant work experience, including:
• At least 1 year in healthcare IT consulting, project management, learning facilitation, or a related client-facing role.
• Relevant higher education and/or work experience aligned with job responsibilities.
• Experience in managing training projects, preferably in healthcare or federal settings.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain Tier 3 Public Trust clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with Oracle (Cerner) EHR platforms

• Travel as necessary (up to 100%)
• Willingness to work outside typical hours within local labor guidelines
• Commitment to follow Oracle's and clients' security, privacy, and compliance standards

Salary and Benefits

Hiring range is $25.48 to $63.65 per hour; annual salary ranges from $53,000 to $132,400, with potential for bonuses and equity.
