About therole

Reporting to the TechnicalSuperintendent, the successful candidate will be self-motivatedthat thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be joining adiverse and highly knowledgeable team that prioritises safety,whilst driving continuous improvement at the Kleenheat ProductionFacility (KPF).

KPF have two LPG trains thatproduce the majority of domestic LPG (Propane / Butane) for the WAmarket, 1 x LNG plant that supplies low carbon natural gas to manymine sites, and associated import / export facilities. You will beresponsible for identifying opportunities, raising ideas, anddeveloping projects to further enhance the reliability andprofitability of KPF.

Where you addvalue

• Providetechnical support and guidance to the operations andmaintenance teams in all aspects of LPG and LNGprocessing
• Collaborate withcross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve electrical& instrumentation issues
• Identifyand manage improvement projects
• Supportregulatory compliance activities and manage the site’sSafety Instrumented System
• Workingclosely with operations and maintenance teams to solve plantdefects; maximise the reliability of equipment; and assist withthe planning, implementation and completion of scheduled andunscheduled shutdown maintenance
• Designing and developingelectrical/instrumentation systems in accordance with relevantstandards
• Utilising yourElectrical Engineering expertise to initiate and drive plant,systems and equipment improvements and develop opportunitiesfor future growth
• Activelyproviding leadership and keeping open lines of communication inrelation to safety, production, cost and improvementideas
• Ensure asafe workplace for all employees and customers by maintainingcompliance with HSE management system standards

To excel in therole, you'll need the right mix of skills and experience, which forthis position means:

• ABachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with line ofsight towards Chartered Membership with EngineersAustralia
• Priorexperience in an operational facility, particularly withPLC/DCS (DeltaV) systems and field instrumentation, is highlybeneficial. A strong practical understanding of engineeringdisciplines, coupled with hands-on experience in brownfield oroperating plants within the hydrocarbon or a related industry,is advantageous
• Experience completingall aspects of a capital project including scoping, design,construction, and commission is desirable
• Stronganalytical skills with ability to develop practical and viablesolutions to complex problems
• Excellent communication(verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Highlyeffective influencing skills with the ability to lead changeand innovation
• Knowledge of applicablecodes and standards
• Valueand drive a safety culture that responds proactively to safetyissues underpinned by knowledge of safe work methods andpractices
• Rolemodel inclusive behaviour and foster an environment that valuesdiversity
• Knowledge of Functionalsafety applicable to process industry (IEC 61508 / 61511) wouldbe an advantage
