About the Role

Join our RegOps (Regulatory Operations) division as a Senior UX Designer, helping shape high-visibility initiatives focused on member firm compliance and investigation programs. This is a unique opportunity to build and redesign key applications from the ground up, leaving your distinct mark on our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead UX design efforts with 3–6 years of experience and a strong portfolio showcasing your design thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior UX designers.
• Collaborate effectively with business users and engineering teams, communicating design decisions clearly and persuasively.
• Apply critical and creative thinking to develop innovative and user-centered design solutions.
• Drive design strategy and execution within our design system using tools like Figma.
• Work in a hybrid environment, onsite 3 days a week in Rockville, MD or Tysons, VA, and remotely 2 days a week.

Portfolio Requirements (Critical)

• Provide detailed case studies explaining your thought process, specific challenges, approaches, design rationale, and outcomes. We value depth of thinking over just visuals.

• Communicate design decisions clearly and effectively.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and champion usability.

What You’ll Bring

• 1–3 years of UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Openness or experience with AI-powered design tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of UX best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG/508).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity, eagerness to grow, and ability to work within established parameters.
