Schedule: 6 Days/Week | 12-Hour Shifts

Travel: 50%–80% to customer sites across project locations

About the Role

We are seeking motivated Entry-Level Commissioning Engineers to join our Industrial Automation team supporting large-scale warehouse automation, manufacturing, and material handling projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and OPT candidates looking to build a career in industrial automation, PLC programming, controls engineering, and field commissioning. You will receive hands-on experience working with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation technologies while supporting the startup and commissioning of automated conveyor and material handling systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform I/O checkout, point-to-point verification, loop checks, and system commissioning.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Load, validate, troubleshoot, and modify Allen-Bradley PLC programs using Studio 5000 and RSLogix 5000.
• Configure and troubleshoot FactoryTalk View ME/SE HMIs.
• Commission PowerFlex VFDs, Kinetix Servo Drives, Stratix Switches, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, DLR, and AS-i networks.
• Assist in troubleshooting PLC, HMI, VFD, and industrial networking issues during startup.
• Validate safety systems, including GuardLogix controllers, E-Stops, light curtains, and safety interlocks.
• Prepare commissioning reports, software backups, punch lists, and as-built documentation.
• Provide on-site support during equipment startup and customer acceptance testing.

Required Qualifications

• US legal residents and work permit including OPT is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or commissioning.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial controls, electrical schematics, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley or Rockwell Automation products is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 50–80% to customer sites.
• Ability to work 6 days per week, 12-hour shifts during project commissioning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or co-op experience in industrial automation or controls.
• Knowledge of:

• Industrial Networking
• Experience with conveyors, warehouse automation, robotics, or material handling systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of OPC-UA, MQTT, SCADA, or MES is advantageous.
• TÜV Functional Safety Certification is a plus.
