Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that optimize inventory control, warehouse operations, and transportation management systems.
• Oversee warehouse management activities, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, picking & packing, and materials handling to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage transportation planning and road transportation operations, including fleet management, freight negotiations, and compliance with transportation safety regulations.
• Lead procurement processes, sourcing initiatives, and category management to secure cost-effective materials and services while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Utilize data analysis skills and supply chain analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and other partners to streamline international trade regulations and shipping logistics.
• Foster a safety-first culture by ensuring adherence to transportation safety regulations and implementing best practices across all logistics activities.
• Manage team members involved in dispatching, warehouse operations, inventory management, and customer service to ensure high performance standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics management within a logistics company or related industry with a strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), CMMS, and Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), freight forwarding, shipping logistics, and international trade regulations.
• Experience with procurement, sourcing, category management, demand planning, pricing strategies, and materials management.
• Technical proficiency in using forklift equipment, materials handling tools, dispatching software, and warehouse experience including picking & packing procedures.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively while ensuring operational safety standards are met.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to transportation safety regulations and customs procedures for international trade.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets using supply chain analytics tools for strategic decision-making.
• Strong communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented mindset to support internal teams and external partners effectively.

Pay: $76,759.70 - $85,398.77 per year
