Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Strategy Consultant III for Strategic Planning & Analysis in Atlanta, GA. The role involves leading strategic initiatives, supporting annual business cycles, and collaborating with executive leadership to deliver data-driven recommendations. Overview

The Strategy Consultant III role will be responsible for (1) leading the evaluation and ideation of new strategic initiatives in the region and (2) supporting the region’s annual business cycle deliverables – examples include the region’s 5-year strategic plan and budget documents.

This is a high-visibility role – consultants will partner closely with executive leadership across multiples teams within the organization to help deliver data-driven recommendations, create conceptual business cases for approval, and develop long-term strategic plans.

A successful consultant on this team is able to balance multiple projects at one time, is comfortable working on ambiguous/complex problems that may not always have a clear answer or approach to solve and has high resilience for iterative work and/or work that may not move forward into implementation.

Job Summary

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, this position is also responsible for supporting business strategy and/or initiative planning by contributing to organizational strategy processes and coordinating across teams to facilitate key conversations; facilitating knowledge sharing across functions and entities to support strategic priorities; helping build out frameworks to facilitate strategy development by leveraging Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat (SWOT) and gap analyses to ensure that strategic opportunities are correctly identified; prioritizing strategic choices through enterprise processes and market operational plans to establish management incentives; aligning enterprise strategy plans and performance with operating priorities in markets and functions; and providing ongoing initiative management and prioritization in real time through performance monitoring using relevant tools (i.e., dashboards, scorecards, leader reviews).
