Senior Frontend React Developer/Cybersecurity/Atlanta Local

Our client is hiring a Full Stack Engineer for a full-time, permanent role focused primarily on frontend development. Our client is an AI cybersecurity startup building the first multi agent LLM-based autonomous SOC platform. The core tech stack is React and Material UI on the frontend, with backend contributions to support the UI experience, all built with security and performance as first class requirements.

This is a rare chance to build meaningful product at the cutting edge of AI and cybersecurity, two of the most consequential spaces in tech right now. You’ll own real frontend architecture decisions: setting standards, selecting frameworks, building reusable component libraries, and driving UX initiatives in collaboration with the design team.

You’ll also get to mentor junior engineers and put the latest AI tooling to work to move faster. If you want your code to matter in a product used by security teams protecting real organizations, this is the opportunity.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience architecting and implementing scalable React applications
• Expert-level proficiency with Material UI component library
• Experience establishing frontend development standards, review processes, and reusable component/design systems
• Ability to drive frontend architecture and tooling decisions and mentor junior engineers
• Experience collaborating with backend teams to design and consume APIs
• Comfort working with and leveraging AI tooling to accelerate development velocity

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with data visualization libraries for React
• Contributions to open-source UI projects
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures
• Background in UX design principles

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown

• ~80% Frontend (React, Material UI, HTML/CSS)
• ~20% Backend (API design and integration to support frontend experience)

Daily Responsibilities

• ~50% Feature development and component architecture
• ~25% UI/UX collaboration, prototyping, and design system work
• ~25% Code review, standards enforcement, backend API collaboration, and mentorship
