Senior Chemical Process Engineer

Summary

Seeking a Chemical Process Engineer with industrial experience in the mining, minerals, and metals sector to provide process engineering services and lead technical design on mineral processing projects.

• Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mining, minerals, and metals sector
• Proficiency in process modeling software such as METSIM, Aspen HYSYS, Unisim Design, PipeFLO
• Preferred Skills:
• Competent use of Microsoft Office products
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
• Responsibilities:
• Deliver process engineering services within budget and specifications
• Prepare proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedules
• Provide assistance during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
• Develop detailed designs including PFDs, HMBs, P&IDs
• Conduct equipment sizing calculations for various equipment types
• Participate in PHA for assigned projects
• Review inter-disciplinary deliverables for compliance and optimization
