The Air Quality Program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill an Air Quality Planner (Environmental Planner 3)(In-Training) position. This position is located in our Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.
In this role, you will be on the front line of developing air quality policy for the State of Washington. You will get to work with scientists, engineers, economists, other planners, and communication experts as part of a team to develop air quality rules and plans.
You will consult with Federal Environmental Protection Agency staff and engage with Washington industry, environmental justice, and local government stakeholders in the creation of rules and plans for protecting air quality in Washington.
