Marketing Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and hands-on Marketing Manager to support the growth and visibility of a fast-moving organisation operating within the startup, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone with around five years of marketing experience who can think creatively but is equally comfortable executing. We are looking for someone proactive, commercially aware, and able to take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery.

This is not a purely strategic or agency-management position. The successful candidate should enjoy being involved in the day-to-day work, moving quickly, and getting things done.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with the organisation’s business objectives.
• Manage marketing campaigns from concept through to launch across digital, content, partnerships, events, and community initiatives.
• Promote programmes, events, workshops, partnerships, and other business activities.
• Manage social media channels and ensure content is relevant, consistent, and engaging.
• Write and review content for social media, newsletters, websites, presentations, and campaign materials.
• Coordinate with designers, videographers, agencies, freelancers, and external partners.
• Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure campaigns and content are delivered on time.
• Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, engagement, event attendance, and community growth.
• Support event marketing before, during, and after each activity.
• Track campaign performance and use insights to improve future marketing efforts.
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including founders, partners, universities, and government entities.
• Take ownership of day-to-day marketing execution and ensure projects continue moving forward.

Requirements

• Around five years of experience in marketing, growth, brand, communications, or a related field.
• Experience working in a startup, technology company, innovation hub, accelerator, agency, or another fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Strong experience executing campaigns across digital marketing, social media, content, events, and partnerships.
• Comfortable managing several projects and priorities at the same time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, content creation, and campaign reporting.
• Experience coordinating agencies, freelancers, designers, or content creators.
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
