The Opportunity

The Sales Director is a senior sales leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, breaking new accounts, expanding multi-service client partnerships, and leading a high-performance technical staffing and services sales team within the Columbus / Central Ohio market. This position is based in our Columbus, Ohio office and plays a critical role in expanding Judge’s presence across the region.

This role goes far beyond traditional staffing sales. You are responsible for building and scaling the sales organization, developing, and executing a local market strategy, and leading with a consultative, solutions-selling mindset across Judge’s full portfolio of staffing and consulting services. Prior experience selling services is strongly preferred.

What You’ll Do

Revenue Growth & Services Expansion (Primary Focus)

• Lead aggressive new logo acquisition and expansion of existing enterprise and mid-market accounts
• Sell across Judge’s full solutions portfolio, including:
• IT, Engineering & professional staffing (direct hire & contingent)
• Consulting & project-based solutions (SOW)
• Managed services, delivery teams, and talent advisory
• Position Judge as a long-term strategic partner, not a transactional vendor
• Drive cross-sell and line-of-business expansion through executive relationships
• Negotiate contracts, MSAs, SOWs, and commercials at the C-suite and VP level
• Forecast revenue, manage pipeline, and ensure consistent deal velocity

Market & Business Leadership

• Develop and execute a localized go-to-market strategy aligned with national initiatives
• Own branch budgeting, forecasting, and sales hiring
• Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and healthcare/technology labor dynamics
• Serve as the senior escalation point for key accounts and delivery risk

Team Hiring, Coaching & Culture

• Recruit, hire, and lead high-performing sales executives
• Partner closely with recruiting leadership to align delivery strategy and fulfillment
• Coach teams on:
• Consultative selling
• Multi-service deal structuring
• Executive-level client conversations
• Build a performance-driven, collaborative culture aligned with Judge values

Client & Delivery Oversight

• Maintain executive relationships with top accounts
• Conduct QBRs and solution reviews with major clients
• Ensure delivery excellence, SLAs, and long-term client satisfaction
• Partner with internal service leaders to scale accounts nationally

What We’re Looking For

• 7–10 years of success in IT staffing or professional services sales
• Proven experience selling multiple services—not just staff augmentation
• Demonstrated ability to:
• Build a book of business
• Close complex, multi-year services-driven deals
• Sell at the VP/C-suite level
• Experience leading sales teams with a strong track record of hiring and developing top talent
• Strong market presence with existing relationships in the Columbus / Central Ohio region
• A “lead from the front” mentality—this role still sells
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
