General Manager - Quick Service Restaurant

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our fast-paced Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and team leadership.

Duties

• Lead daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and ensuring timely service to meet customer expectations.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee inventory control, food handling, and food safety management to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Supervise staff training, development, and performance management to foster a motivated and skilled team.
• Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, shift cash reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Monitor restaurant performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control initiatives.
• Ensure high standards of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
• Coordinate shift management, staff scheduling, and supervising team members across all operational areas including kitchen management and hospitality services.
• Implement food production standards for quality assurance in quick service & fast food environments as well as casual dining or catering settings when applicable.
• Conduct interviews for hiring new team members and participate in ongoing staff training & development programs to enhance team leadership skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with supervisory responsibilities.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food safety regulations.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
• Strong background in inventory control, food management, kitchen management, and managing hospitality teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training & development initiatives; experience in supervising staff is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction in diverse food industry settings including hotel or catering experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze profit & loss statements, manage budgets, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Leadership qualities with experience in interviewing candidates and managing hospitality teams across shifts.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, health regulations, and culinary best practices; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
