Director of Network Operations

We're placing a Director of Network Operations with a global industrial safety company near Pittsburgh. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity W2 only, no C2C.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll lead a team of network specialists while staying hands-on with the infrastructure. Day-to-day that means owning network architecture design and evolution, driving automation and process improvement initiatives, handling escalations on complex LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewall, and VPN issues, and collaborating cross-functionally with IT leadership on strategy and roadmap development.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in network administration, network operations, or IT infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi environments
• Software-defined networking experience
• Prior experience leading or coordinating a network or IT operations team
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• BS in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Experience with network monitoring tools, infrastructure as code, or automation is a plus
