Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Concordia of the South Hills. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining facility vehicles, equipment, repairs, utility systems, buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct repairs on electrical systems and components as needed.
• Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting and system management.
• Assist with plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Weld and repair metal structures as required.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Performs general maintenance duties, such as: room repairs, plumbing work, electrical, appliance, and equipment repairs, painting, installation of drywall, exterior window washing, and refurbishing. In addition, performs preventive maintenance, service calls, and emergency maintenance.
• Promptly and courteously responds to maintenance requests.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively.
• Familiarity with ammeters and other diagnostic tools is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English for effective interaction with staff and residents.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent
