Junior Civil Engineer - Military Aviation Focus

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in planning-level aviation assignments and perform basic civil engineering design including computer modeling, calculations, and reporting.
• Assist in preparing specifications and producing plan sets for airfield projects while coordinating with aviation design professionals.
• Support bid-phase and construction-phase services such as answering RFI’s, preparing design clarifications, reviewing shop drawings, and submittals.
• Attend site visits to assist with engineering services including construction quality checks, acceptance testing, and construction management activities.
• Participate in design team and client meetings as well as industry-level training and collaboration events.

Required Qualifications

• A passion for aviation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills.
• Registered Engineer in Training (EIT).
• Familiarity or experience with Computer-Aided Drafting and Engineering (CAD/CAE).
• United States Citizenship.

Base salary range: $69,500.00 to $121,500.00 (individual pay determined by work location and additional factors).
